The 2015 Cadillac ATS provides power, luxury and comfort all wrapped up in one package.

The 2015 Cadillac ATS provides power, luxury and comfort all wrapped up in one package. The ATS is on par with other luxury sports cars and many automobile critics actually view it as superior to the offerings from Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz. The vehicle is available for sale in the summer of 2014. It is expected to sell for around $34,890, although the official price has not be set.

The ATS was originally a sedan but has made a seamless transition into a sports coupe for the 2015 version. Drivers can upgrade to a high performance ATS-V trim for extra power, speed, acceleration and amenities. The vehicle drives athletically, taking sharp turns with ease while maintaining its balance. It is the first Cadillac to sport the automaker's new Crest that will eventually be featured on all of the company's vehicles. The ATS has sharp angles that team with stylish curves to create an aesthetically pleasing exterior. The vehicle sits on large 18 inch wheels. It has a wide rear that helps the vehicle grasp the road authoritatively so that it remains balanced and under control at all times.

The ATS is available with rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive, which ever suits buyer’s needs. It has a turbocharged, 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder engine with 272 horses. Buyers can also opt for a more powerful V6 with 3.6 liters, 321 horses and 275 pound feet of torque. There is a six speed automatic transmission with manual shift paddles available on the steering wheel. The higher level trim can be equipped with a six speed manual transmission as well.

The interior combines a mixture of leather, metal and wood. The driver is allowed to choose his own trim and accent colors. There are sporty bucket style seats in the front of the vehicle that can be upgraded into special performance style seats. There is ample head room and leg room, even for taller passengers and drivers. There are small storage bins found all around the interior of the vehicle that are available to hold personal items. There's even one hidden behind the ATS's CUE infotainment screen, helpful for valuable items. Magnetic Ride Control technology is optional.

In terms of safety, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) awarded the ATS a five star overall rating. The vehicle has 8 airbags, one of which protects the knees of the driver. Rear side air bags are also available. Other safety options include a lane departure warning system, a rear view camera, Blind Zone Assist and adaptive cruise control.

If buyers are in the market for a new, classy car the 2015 Cadillac ATS should be kept in mind. It has many features that surpass other automakers and also has many customizable options.
