The 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe
The 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe is projected to receive impressive updates in the coming year. This, however, will not be a complete redesigning of the model, which is not even likely in the near future. The planned updates will undoubtedly refresh this model. A new model of the Santa Fe is, however, planned to be launched in 2018.
Cosmetic changes will definitely be part of the updates. Both the exterior and interior will be improved and upgraded to offer a more luxurious appeal and elegance. The changes will, nonetheless, be less drastic.
The new 2015 Santa Fe, which will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, will not only be impressive but will come with a new upgraded engine option. The automobile, which is anticipated to be out in the market as of summer 2015, will also come at a refreshed price. Most rumors claim that the price will only be slightly higher.
Speculations about the new engine envision a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-for engine that will deliver 190 horsepower. There are also rumors that another engine option will be a direct injection 3.3 liter GDI V-6. The latter is the current engine on the Santa Fe. It offers 290 horsepower and 252 lb.-ft. of torque. The new engines come with an Active Eco System. This will improve EPA fuel economy and also streamline CO2 emissions. All the above are speculations based on rumors. However, the real info from the manufacturers will be disclosed by the end of the year.
