2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition

We love our cars, and we’re always going to be looking for the next hottest thing

We love our cars, and we’re always going to be looking for the next hottest thing and the one that really draws attention and potentially becomes our dream car. Knowing this, it’s no surprise that the new 2015 and even 2016 car models are becoming better and hotter. GMC is stepping up their game by releasing some details about their newest car model for the Sierra Elevation Edition – which is a popular model of trucks for the company. They’re aiming to appeal to the workers with this one, not only with the desirable price but with all of the things that come along with it.

GMC is really trying to raise the bar for the sport pickup truck market by putting this truck on to it and seeing how people react, adapt and like it as much as they think they will. Duncan Aldred from the U.S. is the vice president for Buick and GMC knew that the release of this new model was going to do big things for the company. Aldred knows that GMC has had other models of trucks in the past, like the Sierra Denali and the Sierra HD Denali, and those models did extremely well and raised the bar immensely for the standard of premium trucks, so the Sierra Elevation will continue to raise that bar and press new limits for the industry and even the GMC name.

These are the prices that the official GMC website has put out for the different models.
*2WD model with the 4.3L V-6 is priced at $34,865
*4WD model with the 4.3L V-6 is priced at $38,795
*2WD model with the 5.3L V-8 is priced at $35,960
*4WD model with the 5.3L V-8 is priced at $39,890

The 4.3L EcoTec3 V-6 engine is standard for this truck, kicking out 285 horsepower and 305 lb.-ft. of torque. EPA-estimated highway ratings can go up to 24 mpg. The 5.3L EcoTec3 V-8 can obviously kick out a little more juice, with 355 horsepower. The truck also enables a 9,500-pound towing capacity with the available 3.42 axle (2WD). It's truly up to you to decide how much you need.

“The Sierra Elevation Edition is all about expressive style and technology,” Aldred said, “Its customized appearance makes it a standout for style-conscious customers, while its technologies help keep them plugged into to their connected lifestyles.”

With this means is that there are options for how you'd like your truck to look, feel and go based on the options that GMC offers to their customers. The official GMC website has given us a list of what those are. These include:
