Volunteer in India Always Gives You Tremendous Gratification

If you are new to India or whether you have been in India since your birth, volunteering is always a requirement. Just like doctors do charitable work, you too can make a substantial difference in some needy person’s life by giving some time. There are many charitable organizations, NGOs etc that can use your services, so give off some of your time or assets or even money to those in need.

You can volunteer in India now for the better lives of the multitudes who live in utter penury. While the rest of India lives in a country that has a 9% growth rate, the minority of Indians live in so much poverty, that just the sight of them can make you stutter.

Poverty knows no nationality, and the world over, poverty is the greatest enemy of the human race. Humans have learnt so much; they have advanced such a lot, but poverty refuses to stop its ugly shadow from reaching them.

Unity is the only answer for a life away from poverty. We have to fight together to surmount this severe problem that refuses to subside no matter how strong the opponent. So, let’s jab poverty in the face, and make sure that we win, this time and every time.

As a volunteer in India, you will have many jobs to do. Aside from charity, you can also volunteer for the administrative functioning of the day to day activities of so many NGOs. There is such a dearth of talent in the NGO industry that no amount of hours of volunteering can help to further the cause of removal of poverty.

Volunteer with your time, the most important asset that you can share. Volunteer with your money, the second most important need of the hour. Volunteer with your talent, if you have what it takes. There is always a place for more help.

Being a volunteer in India will give you the innermost satisfaction of having saved a dozen people from certain annihilation. It will make you come out of your cocoon and witness the true fabric of life in all its vibrant colours. It will give you a real glimpse into the life of others. How many of you have had a glimpse at poverty, even from a far away distance? What appears alien to you may be the real life circumstances for someone. You have the power to make a difference, and change the deathlike circumstances of so many people, most of them just young kids. Let the awareness of another’s pain lead you onto a path of healing; a healing of the pain in others; a healing of another’s suffering and dire circumstances. And as you contemplate on how to lift the sorrow from another’s life, let there be light in your own. Volunteer, there is no end to suffering..

Volunteer in India and feel the difference especially at the grass roots levels where a simple smile is enough a reward for your efforts. Join Ngo and reiterate your commitment towards humanity.
