What is a denture?
Dentures are removable appliances that are custom designed to replace one tooth, multiple teeth or an entire dental arch of missing teeth. We may have seen them being used by our grandparents and elderly people. They have been used for generations to replace missing teeth.
Dentures are comprised of prosthetic teeth that are attached to an acrylic, gum colored base. It is used to replace teeth partially or an entire set of teeth. They are held in place by natural suction, or metal clasps.
