Consistency Is The Key To Success

Consistency and momentum are some great tools to include in your life.

Sooner we figure out how to be consistent in life, the better for us, as it helps us find the right target and achieve our goals in a target time. It’s challenging to be consistent in life but everything needs consistency like a workout, to avoid binge eating, to maintain a diet, and to be healthy and fit.

BELOW ARE SOME OF THE WAYS YOU CAN BE CONSISTENT IN LIFE:

CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK:

Firstly you need to recognize your goals and targets. Try to change your inner self rather than the outer appearance which will help you achieve goals and improve yourself. Always make sure to set goals and achieve them. The goals and targets you set should always be on the back of your head and think that no matter what, you need to achieve them in the set span of time. For example, you can think I’ll never go for more than 3 days without exercise.’ And my diet rule is ‘I won’t go for more than 2 meals without eating healthy proteins and vegetables.

SHORT TERM GOALS:

Having short-term goals is always important because having short-term goals and achieving them will prepare us for all the long-term goals we have. The short-term goals can be of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly. We need to adhere to ourselves in every aspect and admit and commit to each and every task in our daily lives so that we can achieve each and every goal be it short term or long term. Short term and long term goals can be of anything like family vacation plans, financial matters, and daily tasks. We need to keep setting the bar high each time we are able to meet all our targets and goals. Small habits like drinking 2 litres of water a day or eating an apple every day, will remind you of the bigger habits like exercising and tracking meals.

Not only that, small healthy habits make a difference in the long run. In this study, people who drank the daily recommended amount of water for 12 weeks lost 44% more weight than those who didn’t.

TAKE BREAKS:

While being consistent, we should also be realistic and understand that everything needs some time off and a break. No matter what you do in life, you should always be thoughtful of where to stop and take a break to understand where you are headed and analyze if everything is going in the right direction. Don’t allow your life or your tasks to affect you or to lead you to a stressful life. Before that think through and take a break. In order to do this, however, we do need regular breaks. Taking breaks actually enhances the development of strength.
