You Are Only As Young (Or Old) As You Remember.

2016 witnessed one of the greatest upsets in poker history when William Vom won a major televised tournament.

Vom, a semi-amateur poker player finished in fifth place in the highly prestigious WPT Legends of Poker tournament.

What was so outstanding about Vom’s feat that he earned his six-figure prize while in his late Seventies at a time when most professional poker players are a third of his age.

Exhibiting none of the brashness and poor table manners that typifies the tremendous pressure that poker players usually fall into during these tournaments, Vo, a retired schoolteacher, earned himself countless fans, not only among poker lovers but across world.

Vo opened a few eyes during his post-match interview when he revealed that he only began to play poker regularly and entering online tournaments after retiring from his job as a school teacher to keep his memory sharp.

The personal example that William Vo set is one that should be taken up by his fellow senior citizens.

It has to be acknowledged that very few senior citizens will be capable of reaching the heights that William achieved. It is worthy of note that despite now approaching the age of eighty, the likeable pensioner continues to compete in online poker tournaments and remain a regular prize winner.

Most seniors will be happy to test and hone their memory skills at a less pressure-filled environment competing against friends and family, not for major cash prizes but for mental inspiration.

That possibility is now readily available thanks to unrelenting advances in computer software technology themselves combating  the fashionable theory   that the power to understand and benefit from the internet is restricted to those from the ages twelve to sixty-five.

Also worthy of mention is the understanding that even young children, even from the age of five, are capable of taking advantage of what the internet has to offer.

This translates to the fact that even before they reach school age, they are already able to ingest basic facts and figures, and have a much broader vocabulary and can readily express their thoughts and feelings.

Anyone who has obligation to take care of the intellectual development for the very young as well as the very old need to immediately address this vital issue.

By doing so they can advance the development of their loved ones, through helping them to harness the power of information technology and mental stimulation that the internet can bring.

One of the more recent and highly significant developments in software technology is  an innovative application that has been custom  designed to  advance the memories of people of all ages.

The free memory game is sweeping the internet thanks to its ability to allow players to custom design their own memory game through incorporating either numbers or images or a mixture of them both.

Unlimited permutations allow players never to lose attention while developing their rationality by providing the mental stimulation that only customizable memory games can bring.
