Top 5 Digital Marketing Trends For Brand Awareness Campaigns

Here, I have listed top 5 digital marketing trends that a digital marketer or a brand owner can use for brand awareness.

For the past so many years, I have seen digital marketers focusing on two types of concepts regarding digital marketing. One is that they always concentrate on addressing the customer’s issues using social media comments, reviews, and several other mediums. The second is that they focus on technical aspects of digital marketing, which the audience is unaware of, like SEO, SEM, etc.

As a digital marketer, if you wish to create brand awareness campaigns in 2021, I would want you to use the below-given top 5 digital marketing trends. It will not only spread awareness about the brands you are working with, but it will also help you to engage your end audience with it.

Top 5 Digital Marketing Trends for spreading Brand Awareness

  • Customer Segmentation

Being a marketer, I remember my old days when brands used to target larger audiences and invest more to reach them to spread brand awareness. With the growing technology and changing marketing needs, you can now target your exact end audience at a much lesser budget.

You can target the end audience based on their age, sex, location, interests, and many other bifurcations. With these changes, brands have a better idea of whom to target and what to invest. They get a chance to have more campaigns than they used to do when customer segmentation was impossible.

  • Featured Snippet of Google Search Results

All the SEO Experts, including me, know the importance of coming up at position #1 in the Google search results. With the changes made by Google in the past two years, now the competition is to be at position #0 in the Google search results. Position #0 is termed the featured snippet.

If you are handling a brand, your aim must always be to be at position #0 for your specific keywords in the Google search results. You might find several content pieces on the internet about getting featured in the featured snippets of the Google SERPs.

  • Images for Visual Searches

Yes, you heard it right. You can now search the aesthetics and other information about an image using Visual searches created by Google. As a brand owner or a digital marketer working for a brand, you need to ensure that necessary actions like adding Alt Text to the image description, adding images to the sitemaps, etc., must be taken to rank in the visual searches.

  • Create Interactive Content

This trend is not new, but old is gold. If you wish your audience to connect with you and engage in conversation, you need to ensure that you create interactive content on your website or social media channels.

  • Local SEO

We all have heard about Google My Business (GMB) listings. It helps you create your identity on Google, being a brand. If you are still left to register on Google My Business listings, sign up using your GMAIL account today.

I often update the brand’s listing by adding new images to it, adding videos, adding blogs, etc., which helps my customers rank at the top in the GMB listings.

Though these strategies are not enough to be at the top of your marketing game in 2021, they will show a spike in the growth of your brand. Other methods may include voice search for SEO, adding regular stories on your social media channels, shoppable posts if you are handling an eCommerce brand, etc.

Conclusion
