Entertaining Content Insight To Promote Beverage Ads

Creating content for social media is one thing, but creating content for beverage ads is another story. Find out here

I am not always one to comment on ads that appear on social media feeds, but there was this ad that I found interesting but I knew I couldn’t (and wouldn’t) give the ad any more praise than “interesting” or “intriguing”, because they simply didn’t deserve it. Why did I say that? Well, the ad was less than 20 seconds showing a mind-blowing escape puzzle game that seemed to be interesting and I had to admit here that it was almost tempting for me to download, but the duration was not the point I am trying to say here. It was fun and games until I read the comment sections on that ad. Many people said the ad was a trick and a scam to get people to download, but the game itself was nothing like the ad showed us. In fact, the game is fully about gardening, not some escape puzzle like what was shown in the ad. Sounds amazing, right? Although it did make me curious, it didn’t feel amazing at all. I know it’s all about content marketing strategy, but you can’t just use it that way if you want to attract genuine customers. Let’s face it, if the original game is boring, then it is not worth playing, right? Why bother creating some misleading ads? Well, are you a business that sells beverages? If you are, today is your lucky day because I’m going to tell you some entertaining content ideas to promote beverage ads without having to mislead your target audience – only in this article today! Keep reading to find out!

Add spice to your ads, like, story or drama

By drama, I didn’t mean “staged public drama or publicity stunt.” It’s just a story you want to share with others.  You can either make your own original story, or you can team up with existing film industry to collaborate with them in making the ads, just like what Bud Light did when they collaborated with Game of Thrones, though I know the latter is going to cost you a lot of money. If you are a new business owner, then I would recommend going for the original story. Maybe you can set up a scene where crowds of people are looking for the sacred (or secret) stash where rumors say there is a magic drink there. And the main character goes through a lot until he or she finally finds the stash – the beverage of history. It does not necessarily have to be like that, but you get it, right?

The favor of flavor

When it comes to food and beverages, we know that flavor is the key. Up to this day, the world is always on the move when it comes to buzzworthy on-trend flavors, such as matcha, taro, or milk with brown sugar. If you ask me whether you should keep your traditional flavor or not, I would say yes, but like I said, business world is always on the move. One minute of a new trend, others will follow. You can keep the original flavors, but be creative to add something new like new trending flavors. However, even if you add a new flavor to your menu, always stay true to your brand and always keep the original recipe. Now, let’s talk about ads! New flavor means new design. I didn’t mean the entire design change. I meant you can add new colors for specific new menu to be put into your ad content. For example, although your brand’s original color is blue, and the theme of the month is Valentine and the rose flavor seems to be in trend nowadays, then it is safe to say you can add pink and pink flower petals on the ad design. That’s the way you should think.

Creating beverage promotions is a regular part of your marketing program when you open your own beverage business. The easy and ingenious promotional ideas and insights I have mentioned in this article hopefully can get your creative juices flowing.
