If you buy a new computer and spend a lot of money on it, then rarely do you expect it to break any time soon. They tend to stay at home and be used only for work and games, and they are generally protected as a result. However with a smart phone things are quite different. Here you have a device that you are going to use everywhere you go, that is useful in a range of different situations and that is exposed to the weather and every bump in the road. Thus it is far more common to have a broken iPhone and particularly broken iPhone glass which is a shame when you consider how much you spend on them and how useful they are.

One place that you might take an iPhone that's particularly dangerous is a concert, and particularly if you are standing in the crowd. If your iPhone gets damaged then you can use iPhone glass repair, but it's better to avoid iPhone repairs altogether if you can by keeping it safe.

To do this you need to think about how you are going to look after your phone before you go. You should of course make sure you have a good case for it and this will help you to avoid it getting damaged if it is dropped. At the same time think about where you are going to keep it on your person -0 if it's in a pocket in your trousers then is there are chance it could get damaged by people pushing into you? (More likely if it's a rock concert). To avoid broken iPhone glass in this case you should consider taking a shirt where you can keep the phone in the top pocket, or better yet wearing a jacket with one.

Failing this you should at least be sure that at all times your phone is facing your leg so that the glass is protected. This is the most vulnerable aspect, so having it point in rather than outward is a wise move. Next to avoid needing to repair iPhone screen damage you should make sure that your pockets are deep enough to avoid the phone falling out when you are dancing or jumping up and down. Again there is a strategy to this and the best way to avoid your phone jumping when you do is to look for a pocket with a zip or a button. If you would rather carry the phone in a bag then this can help to.

More often though you will need to repair iPhone screen damage because you had the phone out of your pocket – perhaps to take pictures. The iPhone is not designed ideally for this as the only camera button is the one situated on the screen down the bottom. This then means you have to hold it precariously or lean in with two hands.

In short, the iPhone is not designed for this kind of use and if you are at a concert then you are much better using an actual camera or at least a phone with a button on the top. Even more importantly you should avoid trying to take shots of yourself as that requires you to point the camera in at yourself and then feel around the back for the shutter button – all it takes is someone to push you and you need to repair iPhone screen damage. Of course you could always just take a spare phone instead...
