Stay In St Anton For A Sensational Group Ski Break

A ski holiday is a great way for friends to get away and have some fun relaxing together in a catered chalet.

There’s no better way to really connect with friends or colleagues than to spend a good amount of downtime together having some serious fun. A group ski holiday can be the perfect recipe for tightening friendships and creating bonds as you all keep busy and play hard together for the duration of the trip.

Choose a Catered Chalet

To really make sure that you are getting the most from your group holiday it’s worth considering booking a private chalet. By sharing a living space with no one but your group you can enjoy a communal space to gather in at the end of the day, not to mention somewhere to share a warming meal (cooked for you by someone else if you choose a catered chalet). St Anton in Austria’s Arlberg ski area – with access to over 305km of pistes – is a great location for a group ski holiday. Its wide range of catered chalets means you and your group can enjoy being looked after when you return from a day on the slopes.

Here’s a selection of some of the best group accommodation on offer in the resort.

Quirky Charm at the Rosanna

Built in the traditional Alpine style, this 11-bedroom holiday home is a large, welcoming catered chalet. St Anton is on your doorstep as it is just a three-minute walk to the centre and the heart of the resort’s lively après ski scene.

This option is great for harmony in the group, as there’s no need to argue over rooms with bathrooms. All the twins/doubles in the property have either en suite bath or shower rooms, and many of them also benefit from balconies.

Evenings at the Rosanna are inviting and social with a large split-level lounge (complete with roaring log fire) and dining room. You can relax and enjoy your meal without even having to feel guilty about the washing up as the kitchen is, thankfully, separate (you know what they say: out of sight out of mind).

Elegant Accommodation at the Levett

The stylish elegance of the Levett makes this large accommodation a wonderful choice for groups of up to 21 people looking for acatered chalet. St Anton’s main street is a short stroll away but best of all, the Levett is close to the Nassereinbahn ski lift which means you can finish breakfast in the morning and be on the slopes before you know it.

The communal space is made up of the large dining room and a comfortable lounge with sofas and a beautiful picture window. While not all the rooms here have en suite bathrooms, there are only two bedrooms which have to share facilities out of the nine available.

Get Away From it all at the Schlosshof

At the top of Nasserein is the wonderful converted Tyrolean farmhouse known as Schlosshof. Set in a peaceful location – but only a short free bus ride from the lifts and après ski action of St Anton – the Schlosshof offers basic, comfortable accommodation for groups of up to 22 people.

There’s plenty of room to relax here with a separate dining and lounge area and the bedrooms are spacious enough to provide an alternative place to relax after skiing. Not all the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms but there are good shared facilities on each floor.

Whichever accommodation you choose you’ll discover that a trip away to the Austrian Alps with a group of friends or colleagues will make for a ski holiday to remember, as together you take on the legendary runs, clubs and bars of St Anton.
