·         St Agatha’s Tower

This grand watch tower was built in 1649 and is known as ‘The Red Tower’ due to its colour. This also makes the building visible across Mellieha, so easy to find!

Dedicated to St Agatha, the tower was originally made to be a signaling post on the coastline and could house up to 30 soldiers. Visitors can climb to the top of the tower, admire its glorious views, and learn of its vast and expansive history.

·         WWII Air Raid Shelter

This attraction is open to the public daily and is the largest shelter out of the 46 that were dug during WWII. Explore the tunnels and see them come to life with sound effects, mannequins and waxworks. The shelter is a true historical marvel that is well worth the visit.
