Check Out Courmayeur’s Après Action

For young groups who like to shred powder by day and hit the bars once the sun goes down, you cannot go wrong with Courmayeur, situated in the beautiful Aosta Valley in northwest Italy. This resort is great because there is skiing for all abilities and an electric après scene at night. Party animals will love it here, as you are sure to meet many like-minded people. What’s more, I like to recommend this resort because travelling from Geneva to Courmayeur is quick and easy with our transfer service.

There are dozens of inviting pubs, stylish bars and cool clubs to check out, so here is a quick look at a few of the best party spots in town!

Bar delle Guide

Looking for a chilled evening? Bar delle Guide is a cool and centrally located establishment with a casual vibe. They also have satellite TV here if you want to catch your favourite sports game.

American Bar

It is hard to miss this lively bar, found right in the heart of Courmayeur. With regular happy hours, huge screens for watching sports and late opening hours, it is easy to see why American Bar is so popular with youngsters.

Le Grand Chalet

Can’t wait for that first cold beer after a day on the slopes? Le Grand Chalet is conveniently located at the bottom of the Courmayeur cable car, so you can head straight here from the pistes to get the party started!

Bar Roma

Bar Roma is one of the most popular drinking spots in Courmayeur, as it opens early and closes late, so expect a fun and lively atmosphere throughout the day and night. The stylish bar features comfy furniture and even serves free snacks in the afternoon... which are ideal for soaking up the booze!

The Prive

Visiting this swanky cocktail bar is simply a must, as it is one of the trendiest places around and is very popular with the young crowd. Another major perk is that it stays open until late into the night, too.

Caffe della Posta

Caffe della Posta is a good option if you are looking for a relaxed drink and a snack – they are known for having the best aperitivo in town. The sophisticated venue has been open since 1911 and has a lovely roaring open fire in the backroom. Time to get comfortable!

Cadran Solaire

Cadran Solaire boasts a traditional Italian atmosphere and is a great spot for relaxing, regardless of whether you’ve come to sip cocktails or stay for a tantalising Italian dinner (which is highly recommended, by the way).

Courmaclub

Although situated slightly outside of the town, Courmaclub is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy big clubs with international DJs and live music. If you’re looking for cool and crazy, this is it!

How to Get There

To reach Courmayeur, you will want to fly from London into Geneva by opting for one of the many 1.5-hour flights that are offered throughout the week. It then takes another 90 minutes to get from Geneva to Courmayeur. For maximum convenience and comfort, I suggest pre-booking a Shuttle Direct transfer so that you can sit back and start planning your first big night out.
