Super Ski Lessons For Little Superstars In Les Menuires

Winner of the 2015 World Snow Award for ‘Family Resort of the Year’, Les Menuires really has put a lot of time and thought into making itself the perfect family winter sports destination. With tonnes of activities in addition the ideal beginner-level skiing, Les Menuires is a snowy wonderland for children and parents alike.

From a roller-coaster sledge ride to night-time tobogganing, igloo-building, weekly fireworks and a kids course for timed skiing, Les Menuires has so many snow-based activities that your children will come home exhausted from all the fun. But while activities are great extras for kids, parents who want their children to improve their techniques will love the ski school options in the resort.

The Importance of Taking Lessons

I’ve met parents who are distraught because their children don’t enjoy skiing as much as they do. When I question them further, it tends to be because the children have had a bad experience on the slopes. Usually it is because they were taken on a piste that was too challenging for them and they lost their confidence. This is why, I believe, putting children in classes is so important. A good instructor will asses their level and find the very best slopes and the very best conditions to help children progress; a really great instructor will also make the process a whole lot of fun.

The English-speaking Oxygène school in Les Menuires prides itself on its great instructors and runs courses specifically for a variety of age groups so that their needs can be accurately met in each class.
