The Beach Hotels That Are Perfect For Family Fun

Though for every gorgeous beach there is an equally beautiful beach hotel to stay in, not all of these gems are child friendly. Some hotels explicitly state they are adults-only to preserve an atmosphere of peace and calm for their guests. Thankfully for travel-loving families, there are plenty of accommodation options that are just perfect for children.

Today I am singling out one beach hotel in Puglia, one in Gran Canaria and one in Bermuda which have impressed me by providing something special for those travelling with children. Whether it is because of their extra friendly staff or their range of child-orientated activities, these coastal hotels have caught my eye.

The H10 Playa Meloneras Palace in Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria is an ideal location for a family getaway; with lovely beaches and warm seas it is great for small children – and the plane journey isn’t too long either! The H10 Playa Meloneras Palace is a charming beach hotelwhich provides its guests with access to the wide sands of the Playa de Meloneras. If you want to spend some time in the hotel grounds, you won’t be disappointed by its two sizeable swimming pools or the thoughtfully heated children’s pool. A specialised entertainment team will happily give tennis or dance lessons to your children and a kid’s club is available for those aged 4 to 12.

Top Tip: Reserve a suite for your family – these spacious apartments have all a family of four needs.

The Fairmont Southampton in Beautiful Bermuda

This beach hotelnot only offers great accommodation for families but also gives its guests access to a truly magical private beach where young adventurers can play and explore in perfect safety. The resort itself has fun water-based activities and bookable tennis courts to enjoy, but don’t spend your whole holiday there... make time to take a trip to nearby Horseshoe Bay Beach. With its pink sands and turquoise sea, it is a place you’ll never forget. The younger members of the party will love exploring the numerous coves around this bay and can imagine themselves fearless smugglers!

Top Tip: Send the little ones off to Explorers Camp to make new friends and have a whale of a time.

Puglia’s Hotel del Levante

This complex boasts spacious rooms styled with classic Mediterranean flair. Depending on how old your children are, you might prefer to book an interconnecting room giving the family space to spread out. Alternatively, just ask for a room to accommodate up to four people.

With access to your own private piece of Italian coastline, you’re sure to love staying here. The sand is perfect for building ambitious sandcastles and the sea is calm and safe for swimming. However, the resort has a children’s pool available if the waves are too much for nervous swimmers. A children’s club is on-hand for those who love socialising, yet there is enough to do in the local area to keep the family busy together.

Top Tip: Explore the adorable children’s garden with your little ones.

So, the next time you are planning a family escape to the sun, keep these stunning locations in mind.
