The bay is quite sheltered, sokayaking around its four-kilometre length is a pure joy. You can also head out on one of thenumerous sailing excursions and, for the ultimate experience, book onto a sunset cruise.Bliss.

For the history lovers, staying in a villa in Fornells also puts you on the doorstep of the ruinsof the Castell de Sant Antoni, which dates back to the seventeenth century. It’s from thisfortress that the village itself sprang up, so it’s well worth taking a wander around andimagining life as it was back then.
