Supreme Court And God

Proof that America was founded upon biblical principles.

Supreme Court and GOD

By Joseph Parish

It has been a good many years since I last walked along the brick steps leading to the building which houses the U.S. Supreme Court, however, if memory serves me correctly, you can witness some interesting sculpture near the top of the building. Above the structure can be seen a row of the world's renowned law providers with each one facing the one in the middle. The one standing in the middle is viewed as facing forward with a full-frontal view, this image represents Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments. Additionally, as you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, you will notice two huge oak doors which has the Ten Commandments engraved on both lower portions of the doors. While sitting inside the courtroom, you will face the wall, and right above where the Supreme Court Judges sits are more displays of the Ten Commandments. It would appear that the bible was a prime inspiration for not only our order of law, but our country itself. There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C.

James Madison, our country's fourth president, known as 'The Father of Our Constitution” made the Following Statement:

“We have staked the whole of all our political Institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to The Ten Commandments of God.”

In the past, every session of Congress has begun its session with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been compensated by the taxpayer. This process has been a tradition since 1777. Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were verified members of the established Orthodox churches within the colonies.

Thomas Jefferson in all his wisdom, was worried that the Courts would overstep their authority, and instead of interpreting the law, they would begin making law, an Oligarchy: the rule of few over many. How then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 220 years in this Country is now suddenly wrong and viewed by the liberals as unconstitutional?

Lets put it around the world and let the world see and remember what this great country was built upon - The Holy Bible and the belief in GOD! If you agree, pass this on.
