I Need to Save Money on My Mobile!

In this article we look at ways you can save money and yet retain quality when thinking about purchasing a mobile phone.

Everybody's looking to get savings and cut costs these days. But for a lot of people having a mobile phone and decent service isn't a luxury. With so many jobs requiring mobiles, and people giving up their expensive home land line phones, mobile phones are starting to become a necessity. But just because you need a mobile doesn't mean that you're not looking for a bargain. Today we're telling you about some of the best mobile bargains on the market, both for phones and for service. So, if you want to save yourself some cash, then you might want to check out some of these deals...

Best iPhone Deals...

iPhones are high demand items, and they're the device of choice for many people, but they also have big price tags. If you're looking to get an iPhone then the best thing that you can do is ignore the iPhone 5 in favour of the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 5 does get a bigger screen, and it has a slightly faster processor, but not really fast enough that the average user is going to notice a difference. However, due to a new software update the iPhone 4S is now running the same version of iOS as the iPhone 5, meaning it's got most of the same features and even has the same camera. Plus, you'll save yourself around a hundred pounds on the purchase price. If you're looking to get an iPhone 4S on an incentive contract deal, then look at Orange, they have some bargain rates on the iPhone 4S right now.

Top End Incentive Deals...

Top end phones are going to cost you well over five hundred pounds, which is outside of most people's budget range these days. But that doesn't mean that a top end phone is out of reach. You can get one of these hot new releases on an incentive contract with a mobile operator for little or no money down. The problem with incentive contracts is that they're not always great deals, you often end up paying more than the retail price of the phone over the course of your contract. But there are exceptions, and the best deal right now is coming from Three. For no money down and just £33 per month, you can get your hands on the brand new Samsung Galaxy S4. You'll even get truly unlimited internet thrown in too. The S4 is one of the fastest and most powerful phones on the market, with a full five inch screen and a massive octo-core processor. If high end is your thing, then deals just don't come better than this.

The Samsung Galaxy S2: Best Phone Deal...

Not everyone's into top end phones, some people just want a decent mobile that's going to do its job. And the best deal on a brand new mid-level phone right now has got to be the Samsung Galaxy S2. You get a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED + screen, a sturdy 1.2 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM to make sure that the phone's responsive and won't lag. You also get an 8 MP camera and 16 GB of storage space. The Samsung Galaxy S2 might not be the newest release around, but it's still a great phone with fantastic performance. The best part is that it's only going to cost you around two hundred and fifty pounds, which is a steal for a phone with these specs.

Big Phone Users and Big Bills...

If you're a bit of a phone addict then you might be dismayed every time you see your monthly bill. The problem with phone addicts on phone contracts is that they either have to pay big prices for big monthly calling plan limits, or risk breaking lower monthly limits and then having to pay expensive fees on all the extra services that they use. But this isn't going to be a problem any more if you sign up with T-Mobile. Right now T-Mobile is offering a completely unlimited contract; that means no limits on calling minutes, text messages or mobile data. The Full Monty plan costs just £42 per month, and that's got to be cheaper than any other big contract on the market. And it's definitely cheaper than breaking your monthly calling plan limits. So if you never want to worry about calling plans again, and just want to use your phone however you want, then check out The Full Monty with T-Mobile, it's the best contract deal around.

Pay as You Go Deals...

There really are bargains available for everyone. Not everyone wants to sign a mobile contract to get service. In fact, some people, especially light phone users, benefit way more from getting pay as you go plans instead. That's because light phone users just aren't going to use the big monthly calling plan limits on contracts, but they'll have to pay for those limits anyway. With pay as you-go, you only ever pay for the services that you actually use. Plus, if you prefer your mobile data over faster WiFi rather than 3G, then those mobile contracts with their expensive data plans just aren't going to do you any good. Rates are usually higher on pay as you go plans than on contract plans, but every now and again a deal comes along that just makes pay as you go worthwhile. And right now, Tesco Mobile has one of those deals. They will triple your credit. That's right, triple. You put ten pounds of credit on your phone and you'll actually get thirty pounds of credit. How's that for a deal? There are a couple of limitations. You can only triple your credit once a month and you do have to make sure that you top up at least once every thirty days or you'll lose the deal. And the biggest amount that you can get is twenty pounds for sixty pounds of actual credit. But it's still a fantastic deal for pay as you go users, who tend to often be overlooked by mobile operators.
