Chitlang village tour is another cultural exploration tour combined with some hiking. Chitlang village, which lies on the south western ridge of Kathmandu valley is particularly famous for the spectacular Himalayan views including amazing landscapes combined with the ethnic diversities that dwell in the village.

The different ethnic communities including Tamang, Magar, Chhetri, Brahmin, Newar, Gurung, etc. live in the area, allowing you to experience each of their unique customs, religions and traditions. This will be a unique experience to the visitors who wish to observe the typical Nepalese society closely. Watching the local people busy in their daily chorus, children running and screaming, goats and cows yelling, birds singing their tones and the farmers cultivating their crops is just mind blowing. We just hope you won’t be wanting to stay there all of your life. :)

Chitlang village is mere 27 km away from Kathmandu. The people will be awaiting for you with the flowers and will welcome you with the warm hospitality since Nepalese believe guests as god. While you stay with the locals you also eat the foods they eat and stay in the humble rooms, yet comfortable and cozy for you.
