2015 Chrysler Vehicles: Many New Features

The 2015 Chrysler 200 is more attractive and sophisticated

The 2015 Chrysler 200 is more attractive and sophisticated, its strength lies on its smooth style, power and built-in control that by all means conveys a class statement. Compared to the outgoing 2014 Chrysler 200 model the newer version comes with exciting new features. The vehicle has a coupe like appearance; with 9 speed transmission, incorporating a powerful two-engine contraption.

The exterior of the 2015 Chrysler 200 is designed with a stretched-out roofline, a flush deck-lid with a taper trail that runs all through to the tails. According to Bengt Halvorson of Car Connection, the exhaust vent is designed at the bottom base giving the car a fresh face, and its new front end appearance features a refined grill that creates a vertical appearance. The vehicle’s body sits on the latest CUSW (Compact United States - Wide). The body has a steel content of about 60%; the resultant technology has markedly reduced the car's weight while improving its strength.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 has been developed with telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers coupled by lofty lateral stiffness. The rear suspension features a stabilizer with an elevated torsional stiffness, and chrome guide rods for durability. The 2015 Chrysler 200 is the first medium size sedan with a complete rear-axle disconnect that switches seamlessly between all-wheel drive and front wheel drive, allowing for an automatic full time torque operation.

The other features are HID headlamps, and SafetyTec package; this package comes with, LaneSense departure warning system and a Full Speed Warning System plus a customized cruise, rain-sensing wipers and a Rear Cross Path Detection.

The central dashboard of the 2015 Chrysler 200 has an 8 inch Uconnect, infotainment system that is available with full complementary app integration, 3D navigation, and Wi-Fi hotspot features. The interior features 7 inch LCD integration, a rotary-dial shift knob, and an electronic parking brake. The model has an LED ambient interior lighting, keyless entry, USB and Bluetooth interconnectivity, and an auxiliary input back. The 2015 Chrysler LX model, on the other hand, lacks Bluetooth hands free calling connectivity option. The audio system features auxiliary input-jack, but with no iPod or USB input control. The Chrysler, however, features S-Package that incorporates black headlamps, and fog lamps bezels.

The new model offers a 13 percent improvement in economy with its 4-Cylinders and a higher efficiency on V-6. The 2.4 Liter Tigershark 4-Cylinder engine has MultiAir-II electro-hydraulic differential valve-lift-timing system that reduces pumping losses and improves combustion levels. The Engine emits 184 horsepower and peak torque of 173 pounds of feet at 4,600 (rpm). This makes it much smoother and quieter than its predecessor. The 3.6 Liter Pentastar V-6 engine, on the other hand, boasts 295 horsepower, which is a 12 point improvement from the previous 283 and a peak torque of 262 pounds of feet at 4,200 (rpm). The intake manifold also features low-rumbling tuning and a variable displacement oil pump which diminishes parasitic loses.

According to Bengt Halvorson of High Gear Media, the 2015 Chrysler 200, V-6, all-wheel drive versions will be an excellent fuel saver. To add to this efficiency, the built in American Axle fully disconnects from the rear wheels during cozy driving to boost fuel efficiently. Chrysler believes that the new 200’s will beat EPA ratings of 35-mpg on highway. The price for the 2015 Chrysler 200 (LX) will start at just over $21,000, which makes it one of the most affordable new midsize sedan. Delivery for all new 2015 Chrysler 200 models is expected by April 2014.
