Although it's not expected to go on sale until the spring of next year, the 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty is seemingly worth the wait if you're looking to own or lease a stronger, more durable truck in the future. Impressive updates will make the truck a more powerful and reliable hauler, although the full list of detailed specifications aren't available yet. The 2015 model was recently introduced at the Texas State Fair where its modern luxury mixed with Texan heritage design was shown off.

Thanks to a larger GT37 turbocharger the performance from its former engine, 400hp and 800lb-ft of torque, have been improved with an updated 6.7 liter Powerstroke Turbo-diesel V-8. The engine is made to work with all chassis components and all vehicle calibrations, although the exact power output is not yet being announced. The power will be handled on 19.5 inch wheels and a strengthened suspension system. With its beefed up frame and larger rear axle, that makes this the perfect truck for greater towing and hauling needs. Its strength and build makes it more powerful with reliability. The larger turbocharger is also responsible for the improvement in high altitude performance with its engine exhaust brakes. This series will also feature a new high pressure fuel pump and reduced friction on the engine.

The new Powerstroke engine uses less boost than before, is 8.5 millimeters longer in diameter, and more simplistic without the wastegate and associated controls. Extensive updates have ensured that the F-450's come with increased towing and hauling capabilities, upgrades include a strengthened frame, rear leaf springs that are geared for heavy duty, stronger shocks and stabilizer bars. The model also comes with stronger brakes, and a re-calibrated anti-lock system. Ford's advanced design of placing the exhaust inside the engine's V-Shape while placing the air intake on the outside shortens airflow which allows improved turbo responsiveness, and helps to isolate the engine's hot temperatures. In addition, the vehicle's noise is reduced, as well as the vibration and harshness.

The F-450's also feature a brand new King Ranch trim that upholsters the interior with rich grade Mesa leather stitched with the "W" logo. The leather covers the seats, the center console lid, the arm rests, and the entirety of the steering wheel, while the "W" logo is branded on the seats and the center console lid. The look is completed with logo wheels and a black and tan trim along the exterior of the vehicle, and a new metallic brown paint job complementing the bumper, lower body, and the vehicle's wheel lip moldings. The wheels also feature the running "W" logo on the caps.

The full list of specifications has not been released yet (nor has the price) and already the next model in the Super Duty series by Ford is a mighty impressive upgrade. This truck seems guaranteed to fulfill every towing and hauling need with its extra strength, reliability, and improved performance. And from the looks of it, it'll be doing all that work in style. Ford gives their consumer's functionality, durability, and reliability all without hindering the overall appeal of a good looking vehicle.
