Jeep Unveils Six Brand New Concepts for the Moab Safari

Jeep is releasing six brand new Jeep concept vehicles to celebrate this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari.

Jeep is releasing six brand new Jeep concept vehicles to celebrate this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari. This has become something of a tradition and it always produces exciting potentials for future models. These concepts include: the Jeep Wrangler Level Red; Jeep Wrangler MOJO; Jeep Wrangler Maximum Performance; Jeep Cherokee Adventurer; Jeep Cherokee Dakar; and the Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel Trail Warrior.

The Jeep Wrangler Level Red is designed to be one of the toughest off-road vehicles on the market. It includes a Jeep Performance Parts 2-inch lift kit, to give it the lift it needs to make it over the toughest stretches of off-road terrain. It also comes with Jeep Performance Parts Dana 44 crate axles, which give the Level Red a 4:10 lift ration. Its 3.6-liter engine and six-speed manual transmission will make it perfect for rugged rural explorers.

The Jeep Wrangler MOJO is also designed for off-ride riders and is somewhat similar to the Level Red, but features a heavy-duty 3.6-liter engine. It features the same Dana 44 axles as the Level Red, as well as a 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case. This tool is designed to increase the MOJO's rock climbing abilities. It also comes with brand new LED headlamps and fog lamps, which are designed for night trips.

The third new Wrangler concept is the Maximum Performance. This spry variation on the Wrangler has been clocked with an eight second 0-60 speed and a top speed of 125 mph. It beats out the Level Red and MOJO by coming with a Performance Parts four-inch lift kit as well as push-button Dana 60 axles and a 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case. This gives the Maximum Performance a nearly unheard of 70:1 crawl ratio off a 3.0 L engine.

People interested in the Jeep Cherokee Adventurer are going to be thrilled with its balance between exterior beauty and interior power. It comes with a 3.6-liter Pentastar engine that is capable of a 135 mph top speed. It comes with Trailhawk 4x4 capability, a 48:1 crawl ratio, several defensive skid plates, and plenty of storage area. The power of the Cherokee will attract the off-road enthusiasts, while its handsome tan exterior will draw in other buyers.

The Jeep Cherokee Dakar comes with a 3.2-liter V6 engine capable of a top speed of 135 mph. It varies from Jeep's other prototype vehicles due to its intense Flame Red graphics. These circle the windows and the hood, creating a wild style that shows off its raw power and off-road capability. It features the same 4x4 capacities that come with the Adventurer, but boasts a bold physical style that is truly unique to the Dakar.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel Trail Warrior is designed for environmentally- minded drivers. Yes, the Trail Warrior isn't the fastest vehicle on the market, but it still comes with a 3.0-liter V6 turbo-diesel. This engine is capable of 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Its EcoDiesel engine is designed to burn fuel more cleanly and efficiently, helping to lower your carbon footprint. The Trail Warrior also comes with a Mopar roof basket, 20-inch cast aluminum wheels, and Performance Parts tow hooks and rock rails.

These new concept vehicles push the envelope of what Jeep offers, without breaking the mold of what Jeep has offered in the past. Each concept is based on a reliable, well known make. They simply expand upon what these makes have to offer under the hood and in exterior design. Hopefully, Jeep will integrate these concept vehicles into their 2015 lineup as soon as possible.
