When added to food it has a pungent smell, but it brings with it its colour and medicinal properties. It could be used either in its original form or dry state where it is beaten into powder. Turmeric is widely used in daily skin care routine as well. It is said to give a specific glow to your skin, rubbing the dead skin off.

  • Chili

A pinch of chili powder can do wonders to your dish. Not only does it add a little but of colour to your dish but it also makes the dish tantalizing. No dish is ever complete without adding bit of a chili powder. The spiciness can be a little too much for some people, where as for some it is totally worth it.

  • Black Pepper

Black pepper powder is another very important ingredient in making any Indian dish. It adds a vivid taste and aroma the dish making it enticing. It is rich in antioxidants that helps to control cholesterol and blood sugar levels, has cancer fighting properties, helps in absorption of nutrients, helps your heart fight against cancer and much more.
