A Relaxing Day At The Fairy Garden Beach

If you plan to design a seashell miniature garden, remember to finish your creation by adding tiny seashells

When the weather starts to brighten up and all of nature bursts to life, my mind wanders to our many gardening fairy friends who are loving this time of year. In my opinion, I consider this a snapshot in time called "the season of fairies." When I wander through a greenhouse full of miniature plants, tiny accessories, and fairy houses I see inspiration everywhere. The gardens that I wish to create when it is warm and stunning outside are usually mirrors of my chosen summer activities. A few of my favorites would be fishing, gardening, barbecues, and swimming with my friends and family. Some of my most precious childhood memories are spending long weekends at a cabin, lounging on the beach, and going fishing until sunset. We would spend the days getting sunburnt and creating lifelong memories that I still cherish to this day. When I start planning my miniature gardens, I usually pull moments from my life, and those are as important to me as anything is. However, most of the memories were full of childhood magic where I imagined mermaids swimming underneath me in the lake and flower fairies playing nearby in the flowery weeds.

A garden container that popped out at me and pushed me to create my newest tiny garden was a white planter that looks like the shape of a seashell. It is the perfect foundation for a beach themed miniature fairy garden to help me preserve these childhood dreamlike moments. I wanted it to be a little more playful to show these memories from the perspective of a child. The perfect ground cover for this garden would be sand with some glass pebbles, causing an underwater vibe. The whole garden should have tiny mermaids, seashells, and miniature plants that feel as though they are from under the sea. I was greatly inspired by a unique fairy house called the "Conch Fairy Condo" that is a pink shell with a blue door and window and seashell details along the edge of the home, and starfish details on the outdoor walls of the house. You can select any mermaid fairies to add to your home – there is a large selection, but my favorite would be "Mermaid and the Seal" because she is dressed in purple and pink. I also like the one of a kind mermaid details such as "Mermaids Treasure" which is a clam shell holding a bunch of gold and jewels. If you plan to design a seashell miniature garden, remember to finish your creation by adding tiny seashells; those little details make the garden stand out as one of a kind.
