One of the main drawcards of Vivid Sydney will be the luminous installations on the sails of the iconic Opera House and the bridge coming to life with brilliant light installations. Whether you like to stay outside exploring the city under the stars or prefer to check out all the immersive and thought-provoking arts, there’s something in store for everyone at Vivid this year. The Light Walk will see its resurrection this year by extending over eight kilometres, linking the Sydney Opera House all the way to the Central Station. You will be mesmerised with over 114 works of light artists and 62 collaborators including street arts, large-scale immersive experiences and over 200 LED sculptural birds! There are also many walking tours available in the Central Business District (CBD)that will guide you to some of the top and secretly hidden artworks by local artists that are sure to blow your mind away. Get inspired by the fearless Gretchen Carlson, who was pioneer in shaping the #MeToo movement, as she shares her stories about the blockbuster movie Bombshell and its inspirations.

Vivid Music

Sydney is the birthplace of numerous talented artists and taking a deep dive into its diverse and dynamic music culture is one of the exciting things you could do for Vivid Sydney 2022.
