Day 1:

Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal, Hotel

Welcome to Nepal. As soon as you land and get out of the airport gate after clearing the formalities of getting visa, you will see our cheerful teams waiting for you with your name placard. You will be transferred to hotel. Meeting with the teams (Company staffs and your guide) and briefing over the dinner will be done.

Day 2:

Final trekking preparation and optional sightseeing, B, Hotel

We will prepare all the required documents required for the trekking. You can also buy or hire the necessary gears and equipment in this day. For those who wish to go for the sightseeing please don’t hesitate to talk to your guide or team leader.

Day 3:

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi 1,460 m 7 hours, BLD, Teahouse

Drive through the North Western side of the Kathmandu valley to get to the other side of the country, Syabrubesi which is the starting point of our trek. You will experience the mountainous difficult roads, the winding turns, see the scattered villages on the cliffs while also feeling the change in the weather on the route as it starts getting chiller henceforth.

Day 4:

Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel 2,430 m 6 hours, BLD, Teahouse

Enjoy your short day walk through the oak, rhododendron and bamboo forests. Follow the Langtang river upstream most of the way to get to Lama hotel for the night stop.

Day 5:

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village 3,430 m 5 hours, BLD, Teahouse

After breakfast, we will continue our journey. Enter into the dense forest after descending for some time. Get your permits checked in Ghora Tabela before continuing to the biggest village in the Langtang region, Langtang village.

Day 6:

Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa 3,870 m 3 hours, BLD, Teahouse

In this beautiful day, you will pass through the tiny stone-built houses and the mani Chortens along the gentle path. Finally arrive in the stunning village surrounded by the magnificent peaks, the Kyanjin village or the Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 7:

Rest and acclimatization day, BLD, Teahouse

Since it’s the resting day, you can opt to hike to one or both of the best viewpoints in the region Kyanjin Ri 4800m and Tserko Ri 5000m to see the panoramic Himalayan views. Also hike around the villages and taste the locally made, famous cheese and curd.

Day 8:

Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Ngegang 4,000 m 6 hours, BLD, Teahouse

In this another remarkable day in the Langtang region, we will continue ascending through the sparse vegetation to cross a bridge over Langtang Khola. You will see a lake known as Chhana lake after a short walk. Ngegang in a couple of hours for the night stop.

Day 9:

Trek from Ngegang to Keldang 4,270 m via Ganja La Pass 5,130 m 7 hours, BLD, Teahouse

In this adventurous day of crossing the Ganja la pass, we start early morning. The hardest part of our whole journey, today you will have to struggle walking over the thick snow layers and the slippery path. After completing the Ganja la, we will descend down to Keldang for the night.

Day 10:

Trek from Keldang to Dukpu 4,080 m 7 hours, BLD, Teahouse

The trail in this day will consist of walking highs and lows through the ridges, grasslands and the valleys with the majestic views of the mountains. After a long day walk, you deserve proper rest in Dukpu.

Day 11:

Trek from Dukpu to Tarkegyang 2,740 m 6 hours, BLD, Teahouse

Our trek today will take us downhill for the first part for about 200 meters then lead us to a pass called Yangri Peak which is around 4,100 m. Descending downhill most of the way afterwards will take us to Tarkegyang, a large Sherpa village. Explore the village and also visit a Gompa in the evening.

Day 12:

Trek from Tarkegyang to Sermanthang 2,590 m 5 hours, BLD, Teahouse

We walk through the thick forest of rhododendron and the Sherpa settlements to get to Sermanthang, another culturally rich Sherpa village. Very beautiful in terms of natural settings, one can enjoy the silent moment in Sermanthang.

Day 13:

Trek from Sermanthang to Melamchi Pul Bazaar 900m 3 hours and drive back to Kathmandu 3 hours, BL, Hotel

Walk along the ridge and get past many villages viewing the terraced fields en route, you will come down to Melamchi Pul Bazaar ending our trekking journey in the Langtang Helambu region. Enjoying the countryside view once again, we will drive back to Kathmandu finishing off the trek and to rest in hotel.

Day 14:

Rest day in Kathmandu and souvenir shopping, BD, Hotel

After a successful Langtang Ganja la pass trekking adventure in the Himalayas of Nepal, we have a beautiful day in Kathmandu valley to rest and browse the local market. Buy the souvenirs for your close ones or get yourself some token of love from Nepal. Farewell dinner is served by Nature Lovers Treks and Tours’ team in the evening.

Day 15:

Goodbye from Nepal, B, Flight.

Kathmandu airport pick up and drop services

Nature Lovers Treks and Tours’ staffs will pick you up from the airport as per your flight arrival time and similarly drop you off in the airport for international departure according to your flight schedule. During arrival, please don’t forget to look for your name placard hold by the team, outside the airport arrival gate.
