Three Great Music Festivals Not To Miss On Tenerife

Tenerife is a wonderful place for independent travellers to explore. On this Canary Island you can expect to discover excellent hiking trails, culturally rich UNESCO World Heritage sites, fascinating volcanic landscapes, remote mountain villages, modernist architecture, and famously stunning beaches. There is so much to see wherever you go.

Yet, Tenerife is much more than just an historical and scenic hotspot: it’s also home to some awesome music festivals and a great clubbing culture.

The Phe Festival

2020’s Phe is tipped to be as epic an experience as in previous years. Titled ‘The Third Summer of Love’, Phe is set against the sun and the sea.

Its line-ups always revolve around a musically diverse group of independent artists. Last year’s headline acts were Depedro and We Are Scientists, but a whole range of groups and soloists took to the stage: Carolina Durante, Gaf y La Estrella de la Muerte, Los Punsetes, El Extranjero, The Groove Brothers… just to name a few.

As well as performances by some Tenerife and Spanish greats, the festival prides itself on providing a broader entertainment experience: expect authentic cuisine, up and coming fashion, regional modern cinema and generally just a super cool vibe.
