Terms and Conditions

Please go through the following T&Cs before you book with us which govern the relationship between you (client) and Nature Lovers Treks and Tours Pvt Ltd (hereinafter referred as ‘company’). Please note that while booking a trip, you are agreeing to be bound by the T&Cs of the company. Both parties agree to these T&Cs to resolve any legal cases or disputes that may arise during or after the trip.

(1) PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND METHODS

30% of the total trip amount is necessary to be paid to secure the spot. The payment for the remaining balance of your trip can be either sent in later time or paid upon your arrival in Nepal. If you choose to settle by credit card or bank transfer, a handling charge of 3-4 % on the total amount is added which is your own liability.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We also need the both sides of your credit card (photocopy or picture) to validate the withdrawal from alpine card. It's hardly recommended to our clients.

There are so many other remit options if it's easy for you to send money to us like Western Union, IME, etc. We are also accepting PayPal at the moment.

(2) TRIP ITINERARY CHANGE

All of our company’s trips are subject to itinerary change based on a variety of circumstances, including, but not limited to, client’s fitness, porter's situation, availability of vehicle on time, flight delay/ cancellation, unfavorable bad weather or road / trail conditions, etc. which is beyond our control. Most of the times, alternate trips in different areas may be offered as substitutes (if it’s before the trip) or selected tour destination may differ from the program itineraries (if it’s during the trip). In rare cases, we might even have to reroute or cancel the trips. Payments are not refundable in any cases. In case of trip cancellation, either you have to wait for the right time to travel (extra days on your cost) or you can choose to go on other trips.

(3) CANCELLATION OR REFUND POLICY

If under any circumstances you are unable to travel, you can always cancel if you haven't paid any amount. If you have already paid, your money is safe with us until the moment you resume traveling with us. No refunds will be done in the last moment cancellation but you can join us anytime later on agreed departure date.

If the clients has to return or break earlier from the tour due to medical/physical or personal reasons, NO PROBLEMS, you shall be escorted back to the initial hotel with our field staff and properly looked after until and unless you are ready to get back to your country. 

There are no refunds, if the company has to reroute to other areas due to unavoidable circumstances. In such condition the company holds the right and assures you in providing a hassle free, rest of the adventure.

(4) TRANSFER POLICY

Transfers from one trip to another are subject to the following conditions: 

• More than 30 days prior to the trip start date, you may transfer from one trip to another with no associated fees.

• Between 30 days prior to the trip start date, transfers are not possible and subject to a $50 per person since there might be many complications arising from the transfer.

(5) TRAVEL AND MEDICAL INSURANCE

NATURE LOVERS requests and suggests every client while booking with us to acquire Travel and Medical Insurance which is compulsory undertaking any trips in Nepal. It should include adequate protection for tour/treks duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses in any means of transportation (on emergency such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance) and adequate cover for baggage loss.

(6) CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITY

A tour escort/ trekking guide representing NATURE LOVERS holds and deserves all authority during trekking and tours. If you behave badly with negative attitude and commit any unlawful act, you will be compelled to leave the tour / trekking. No refund will be made in such condition.

(7) NEPAL VISA AND PASSPORT CONDITION

All clients are requested to have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date. Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.  The costs of Nepalese visas are sole responsibility of clients.

(8) HEALTH AND FITNESS

All of our Trekking and Tours require sound health in a person with some level of fitness before signing and booking with us. The client requires to check with his/her local doctor or physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departure to Nepal.

It’s the client’s responsibility to inform us of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that is reasonably expected to increase the risk of your health worsening, which will eventually affect your travel.

(9) CHILDREN

An authorized guardian/parent must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen. If you have any queries regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.

(10) PUBLICITY

Please note that you agree and permit NATURE LOVERS to use pictures, photos or images of you taken while during the trip without informing you or without compensating you, for promotion and advertising purpose only through different mediums.

(11) CHANGES TO YOUR HOLIDAY AND PRICING

There are some things that's beyond our control like flight delay/cancellation due to bad weathers, road blocks because of landslides, flood, heavy snow and political unrest, etc. Under the above circumstances, we will provide you an alternative or substitute trip of same category with no refunds.

The company does not accept any responsibility for the loss on employment or other unfortunate situations that might occur to you resulting from the circumstances happened beyond our control.

We reserve the right to revise pricing rates to be posted in our marketing sites under different circumstances like the changes in exchange rate, government action etc.

(12) PRIVACY

We need your personal details to obtain necessary permits and others. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will be disclosed for any other purposes.

(13) RISK AND LIABILITIES

We are committed in providing the best quality service and it’s our responsibility to make your journey smooth and pleasant. However, the entire program is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of the country's policies. Therefore NATURE LOVERS shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as government restriction, land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, etc. and any extra day’s cost incurring thereof shall be borne by the clients themselves.

(14) UPDATING T&Cs

The Company reserves the right to update and amend these terms and conditions anytime. It is the responsibility of the Client to keep updated with any changes. The current version will always be found on the website www.natureloverstrek.com and will be the terms referred to in any disputes.
