It has a top speed of 162 miles per hour and is now one of the fastest SUVs on the planet. The 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR is also going to feature an eight speed automatic. This provides for faster shifting inside of the SUV and improves fuel economy. In fact, the fuel economy in the automatic transmission is better than a manual.

Of course, Land Rover still built itself as a sport utility vehicle, so unlike many of the other speed SUVs out there from the likes of Porsche and Mercedes, the 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR still comes with a selection of nice off-road options. It comes with a two-speed transfer case that is going to provide up to 100 percent of the torque to either the front or rear axle, depending on what is required. By shifting the transfer case, a driver can improve towing and pushing capabilities of the vehicle, plus they are able to do this while the vehicle is on the move at speeds of up to 37 miles per hour.

Land Rover is taking orders for the 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR starting in October and it is set to hit showroom floors around the beginning of next year.
