Ideas Aplenty At Ideanix Competition!

Aqcellor is the title sponsor of Ideanix Generation 01 organized by the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of Sri Lanka Technology Campus (SLTC). The semifinal round took place on August 26 at TRACE Expert City.

The project aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the IT sector, develop their entrepreneurial skills, and encourage invention and creativity through the Ideathon event.

Twelve teams presented their ideas to a four-member panel of judges consisting of Sanj Chandran CEO/Founder Aqcellor, Sharika Mubarack, co-founder and Vice President Asia, Aqcellor, Dushantha Ranwela, Senior Tech Evangelist Ideamart, and Dr. Mahima Weerasinghe, Head Department of Data Science, SLTC.

Presentations included apps for improving the efficiency of bus transport, urban agriculture, travel planning, a canteen menu ordering system, education advice and planning, banking for seniors and the disabled, a device clone tracker, a ticket booking process for concerts and events.

The finals will take place in September.
