Do shave down the tile, instead dig down the old grout about one eight inches deep if you have porcelain tile. However, in the case of thick ceramic floor tile, you have to dig much deeper. After you are done with digging, consider removing the dust completely because leaving dust might interface with the new grout and affect the application later.

Types of Grout

Well in the market you will come across two types of grout they are either premixed or dry. What will you do after you have bought the grout? Well, first you have to mix it in a container and make it a thick paste. Well, it is advisable to follow the instruction of the grout packet to make a good paste.

Make sure that the grout color matches the aged color that was there previously.
