Day 2 Early morning excursions to Tiger Hills to see sunrise and Mt Kanchenjunga range. Sightseeing.
Day 3 Excursions to Tea Estate and Toy train ride in Darjeeling.
Day 4 Transfer from Darjeeling to Pelling and sightseeing.
Day 5 Transfer from Pelling to Gangtok, Sikkim.
Day 6 Excursions to Tsomgo Lake and local sightseeing tours in Gangtok.
Day 7 Transfer from Gangtok to Kalimpong and sightseeing.
Day 8 Transfer from Kalimpong to Phuntsholing (for Bhutan) or Kakarvitta (for Nepal).
Day 01:KATHMANDU TO GANGTOK, SIKKIM
Fly to Bhadrapur and drive 40mins to Kakarvitta or drive straight 11hrs to Kakarvitta (Nepal/India border). Immigration formalities to be done. Private vehicle to Gangtok 4hrs (120km). Sikkim, the land of monasteries and rituals full of tranquility.
Day 02:SIGHTSEEING TOUR IN GANGTOK
Full day sightseeing. Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Ranka / Rumtek Monastery and Tashi View point are the places of tourist interest.
Day 03:TRANSFER TO LACHUNG
Drive to Chungthang 96km from Gangtok, Lunch at Chungthang. Drive to Lachung 35km from Chungthang. The snow capped peaks, the Shingbha wild life sanctuary, Yumthang, Katao and Yumeysomdong are the major attraction in this Shangri-La like valley.
Day 04:YUMTHANG SIGHTSEEING & TRANSFER TO GANGTOK
Drive to Yumthang 25km (1hr). Next walk up to Zero point, this is a stretch of cold desert till Tibet / China. Back en route, visit to hot water spring, the region is fully covered with Rhododendron forest. Afternoon visit Katao & later drive to Gangtok.
Day 05:GANGTOK TO KATHMANDU or BHUTAN
Drive to Phuntsholing 6hr if going to Bhutan tour or back to Bhadrapur if you are flying/driving back to Kathmandu.
