Getting The Gang Together In La Rosière

There are a number of reasons that skiing holidays in Europe are perfect for groups of friends or colleagues, but the quality and individual character of each resort can differ a great deal. For mixed ability groups, there are few resorts as suitable as the relaxed and compact La Rosière. Catered chalets in the area make a great base for the group to explore the slopes and enjoy the great dining, drinking and off-piste activities. These are just a few of the best things that you and your group could enjoy on your ski trip to this excellent resort.

Snake Gliss

A fun way to bond with the group is to take a snake sled down the mountain. The sleds are joined together with up to eleven people curling their way down the slope. It’s an exhilarating way to get used to the slopes for those new to skiing, safe in the knowledge that an instructor is there to keep you safe.

Ice Skating

Ice skating is a wonderful way to enjoy a winter sport without having to get your ski gear on! The rink here is a decent size, meaning that there is plenty of space for any skaters who aren’t as confident and, even better, it’s located right in the heart of La Rosière. Catered chalets are just a hop, skip and a jump away, making this an excellent way to enjoy some of the best après-ski fun in the resort.

Mush! Mush!

One of the best things about winter holidays is the opportunities they provide to do things you wouldn’t usually get the chance to try. Dog-sledding is one of the most exhilarating ways to get out on the snow with an entire group, and it’s also a very good way to enjoy some wonderful views from a very different vantage. Hold on tight and get ready for fun!

Treat Yourself

Ski holidays can be very tiring, especially for anybody who is not experienced on the slopes. The spa in La Rosière has the answer for this, with spellbinding views over the Alps and all the treatments and pampering you could hope for. Relax and unwind after your day on the piste with a sauna, a dip in the hot-tub or some time in the salt cave. Pure bliss.

Wednesday Hockey

If your time on the rink got you excited for more ice skating action, then the excellent ice hockey team, Les Tigres Blancs, play at the rink every Wednesday. Come and see the fast and frantic sport while you enjoy the friendly and fun atmosphere - it’s a wonderful way to spend an evening.

Where to Stay

One of the biggest decisions for these kinds of trips is deciding where to stay. Thankfully, a La Rosière catered chalet provides a great space for large groups to make the most of their trip. As well as enjoying the comfort they provide, they offer a perfect space for your group to meet after splitting up for different activities.

With the fantastic après-ski and great slopes for all levels of experience, few places come close to La Rosière! Catered chalets in the area will provide a brilliant base for your group to come and go as they make the most of this excellent little resort.
