What Makes an Amazing Apartment

There are many indicators of success that make us feel like we've 'made it' and that generally make life more comfortable and enjoyable at the same time – and often these are the things that keep us working hard at work and motivate us to get up every morning and make the commute into work. These things include a number of factors, but they include things like the car, the partner, the nice watch and of course... the amazing apartment.

Having an amazing apartment in the city is something that we all want at some point in our lives, and it's a great way to feel on top of the world and like you're finally living your dreams. But what is it that makes an apartment such a desirable asset? Here we will look at a few of the things that set apart an amazing apartment from the rest and that make you really want to work hard for them.

A Great View

I have always been jealous of Frasier Crane's apartment in the old sitcom. Of course it helps that it's been so well decorated, and Frasier is certainly a character who is supposed to have good taste; but for me the main attraction is no doubt the balcony and the view. With an amazing view you will be able to while away the evenings while looking at the blinking lights of the city and feel like you're still a part of everything – and literally on top of the word. At the same time a great view can be a brilliant tool for trying to host a party or have a great date, and you can make it even more of a draw if you add a telescope or a few chairs.

Lots of Space

When most of us think apartment we tend to think of a small space that fits on just one floor of a block of flats. Of course these aren't quite the apartments that most of us are interested in, and if you want to feel like you're really successful then you need to have lots of space on your floor so that you can arrange all of your great furniture and host great parties.

The Items

Of course you also need to populate your flat well if you're going to make it as desirable as possible and show of that taste that will make your friends envious. This means of course having great furniture (think leather and a minimalistic design), but it also means other pieces of interest – things like ornaments from around the world, things like telescopes, things like a grand piano and things like water features. Try to create the impression that you have this amazing lifestyle but don't overcrowd the space – let a few quality items shine rather than filling the room with too much clutter.

The Cleanliness

Of course if you really want a desirable apartment that will make people say wow, then you also need to make sure you keep it clean and tidy. If you don't have time to do that yourself then consider hiring a cleaner.
