Ingredients:

  • Half a cup of pasta
  • Half a tsp. salt
  • Five cups of water
  • For Veggies:
  • Half a tsp. of oil
  • One cup of chopped carrot
  • One cup of chopped green capsicum
  • Half a cup of chopped red capsicum
  • Half a cup of chopped broccoli (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • For White Sauce:
  • Two tbsp. butter
  • One tsp. of chopped garlic
  • Two tbsp. of all-purpose flour
  • One cup of milk (or 250 ml)
  • One tsp. of dried oregano (or pizza seasonings)
  • One tsp. of chili flakes
  • A pinch of black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

  • Boil the pasta according to the instructions written on the pack. Try not to overcook pasta. It will take around seven to ten minutes. At first, check the pasta to see if it is ready and then strain it. Do not forget to sprinkle cold water on the pasta.
  • Now, take a skillet and add half a tsp. of oil to it. Turn the heat high. After that, add chopped carrot, green capsicum, red capsicum, broccoli, and salt. You have to stir all your veggies. Make sure that you do not cook them. After two to three minutes, turn off the flame and transfer the veggies to a plate.
  • Now in the same skillet, add butter and turn the flame medium. After that, add half a tsp. of finely chopped garlic and sauté the mixture for thirty seconds. After thirty seconds, add all-purpose in it. You have to keep stirring the mixture for at least a full minute.
  • At this step, you need to pour milk into the skillet. Try to add milk gradually and not at once. Make sure you keep stirring the mixture with a whisk. Turn the heat at low and keep mixing for almost two minutes.
  • After the mixture thickens, add oregano, chili flakes, a pinch of black pepper powder, and salt. Make sure to combine all the items thoroughly.
  • Now add the stirred veggies and boil pasta to the skillet. Mix all the items. You can also add any protein if you want.
  • Pour it in a serving plate and garnish with grated cheese for extra impact.
